The San Diego Museum of Art’s new exhibition,\u00a0“Jasper Johns: Drawings and Prints<\/a>,” offers works on paper by a renowned and enduring American artist of the 20th and 21st centuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Running\u00a0through Oct. 27, the show features 14 significant works on paper dating from 1960 to 2021, including six drawings on loan from the artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibit offers a glimpse into Johns\u2019 creativity through his innovative use of mediums and images in prints and rare drawings, part of an era that redefined contemporary art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Works on display include\u00a0Two Flags\u00a0<\/em>(1960),\u00a0Figure 2\u00a0<\/em>(1973) and several from\u00a0The Seasons<\/em>\u00a0series (1985\u20131991). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
